Veterinary Team in Singapore

Our Singapore veterinary team is passionate about providing exceptional healthcare for animals. The team is make up of board-certified, residency-trained veterinarians and internal medicine specialist, together with our experienced veterinary staffs, providing the best veterinary care for the local community.

Dr. Yeumee graduated in the University of Sydney in 2008, followed by a master degree in Veterinary Studies (Small Animal Practice) from Murdoch University.  She is also a qualified veterinary acupuncturist. Dr. Yeumee started her veterinary career in Sydney before moving to US and then Singapore, developing her skills in abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, exotics, soft tissue, laparoscopic surgery and acupuncture. She has a keen interest in acupuncture and holistic medicine. Apart from dogs and cats, Dr. Yeumee takes care pocket pets: rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters in our Singapore clinic. She has extensive experience in bunny and is on the rabbit-savvy vet list for Singapore.

Dr. Dymphna obtained her DVM at the Utrecht University of the Netherlands, and furthered her studies in ISFM feline medicine.  She has also completed the ESAVS dentistry and emergency critical care courses.  Practicing as a vet for nearly 20 years in the Netherlands and Singapore, Dr. Dymphna has developed a passion for feline medicine and dentistry. She is keen on providing the best possible care to all cats, as well as establishing trusting relationships with her clients.  Outside of work, Dr. Dymphna loves scuba diving and underwater macro photography.  She runs a small dive resort in Bali with her furry team - Munchkin, Mao Mao, Brownie and Barney, that she has rescued from the streets of Bali over the years.

She then finished her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Kayla fell in love with the problem solving aspect of veterinary medicine while working at a local veterinary clinic in high school. Her professional interests include dentistry, dermatology, and management of endocrine disorders. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, playing board games with friends and family, and playing tennis. She holds a current veterinary license in both Singapore and the USA. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Singapore Veterinary Association (SVA).

Dr. Zu’An Chong: aka Dr. ZAC graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2018, and has since worked in multiple GP and emergency clinics in the UK and Singapore. Dr. ZAC enjoys soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography, and is currently working on improving his skills in these areas.

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Randy was awarded a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, MBA in 2020, MSc in 2022, and is a Fellow in the Philippine Society of Veterinary Surgeons.   He has a special interest in Ophthalmology, Emergency Critical Care, Veterinary Diagnostics as well as Veterinary Surgery, Anaesthesia and Analgesia. He was part of the medical team that performed open heart surgery   Randy is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Veterinary Anaesthetist, International Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, and Singapore Veterinary Association.   Outside of work, Randy is a fish hobbyist and is one of the few leaders in the Filipino community. He was also a two-time award recipient for the most outstanding citizen in his hometown, proving that he always provides extra mile service when it comes to treating and caring for his patients.

Vivian Flor graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from the University of La Salette, Philippines in 2012 and passed her licensure examination as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the same year. After a few years of honing her skills, Vivian came to Singapore and worked as a Laboratory Technician. A firm believer of lifelong learning, Vivian furthered her education and was enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and was a graduate of Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) from the Ateneo De Manila University. Vivian believes in the saying, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Eddie graduated with a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Isabela State University, Philippines in 2016. As a licensed veterinarian, he practised in the Philippines, and has been a member of Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) since 2017.   With the eagerness to broaden his knowledge, Eddie decided to work abroad in Singapore as a veterinary technician in 2018. His special interest lies in Animal Behaviour, Feline Medicine and Internal Medicine.    Eddie believes that as humans, we are the guardian for all the voiceless animals. As a cat person, Eddie aspires to be an Animal Behaviourist, Feline Specialist and an Internal Medicine Specialist. Recently, Eddie was certified by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) as a Cat-Friendly Veterinary Professional.   Outside of work, Eddie enjoys exploring new places on his bicycle. He also enjoys binge-watching television series, particularly medical dramas.

She then worked as a resident veterinarian in one of the prestigious animal hospitals in the Philippines for 2 years, during which she enjoyed the challenges of emergency and critical care cases.  In pursuit of broadening her knowledge in small animal practice, Rona finally decided to work abroad in Singapore. She strives to work in a systematic manner and aims to provide quality medical care for her patients. She aspires to refine her skills and knowledge in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.  Outside of work, Rona enjoys watching movies and television series. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends, cooking and trying various cuisines available in Singapore.

Aydan was nominated for Royal Canin’s Veterinary Nurse of the Year Award 2021/2022 and was a finalist in the top 5. He has a varied educational background and his career-related qualifications include a Diploma in Veterinary Technology and a Diploma in Zoology.  His special interest lies in Client Education, Exotic Nursing and Veterinary Surgery, Anaesthesia and Analgesia. He strongly believes that he is able to value-add to a pet’s life by educating pet owners, one at a time.  Aydan lives with his adopted boys - Alexis, a 7 year old Persian cat and Anakin, a 4 year old Dutch-cross rabbit. As a nyctophile, Aydan enjoys spending quality time with his friends, nestled in his room or exploring what the city has to offer at night.  In admiration of the Filipino technicians he has worked with, Aydan plans on studying for his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at an AVMA-listed university in Indonesia.

Shimin graduated with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic in 2022. Her interest in the veterinary industry started with her first canine companion, Pilo. It was back then that she met a friendly veterinarian, who allowed her to volunteer in the clinic during her school holidays and she was given the privilege to observe Pilo’s sterilisation procedure.  Shimin’s interest then slowly shifted towards wildlife, where she spends her time volunteering for wildlife conservation groups. Outside of work, Shimin enjoys exploring various outdoor activities and spending time with her 2 dogs - Pilo, a 10 year old Mongrel and Didi, a 7year old German Shepherd.

In pursuit of her passion, Amanda is currently undertaking her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the National University of Singapore. She aspires to provide holistic nursing and care for her patients, and has a keen interest in Critical Care Nursing.  Aside from caring for her human patients, she also enjoys working with animal patients too. Since adopting and rescuing her 3 late hamsters, Amanda has developed an interest in working with and caring for pocket pets.  Amanda is currently owned by Viper, her domestic shorthair cat that was found as a stray, along with her two poodles that grew up with her - Niko and Teddy. Outside of work, Amanda plays netball competitively and has a recent newfound interest in pickling.

Since volunteering at animal shelters, sanctuaries and the tortoise museum during her school holiday in 2019, Shekinah pursued her passion and embarked on her veterinary educational journey, and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic, which she is set to graduate from in 2023.  Over time, Shekinah developed a special interest in Animal Care and Husbandry, as she believes that the comfort and welfare of an animal should always be prioritised. She finds her job to be immensely meaningful and the most heartfelt part is seeing how positively impactful veterinary medicine is.  Shekinah currently lives with Teddy, a 4 year old Ragdoll cat, and Grumps, an 8 year old Lionhead rabbit. Outside of work, she makes her own beaded jewellery and paints artworks for friends and family. With the aspiration to become a veterinarian, she plans to further her studies and read for a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at an international university in the near future.

In 2018, Seraphina devoted her time volunteering and fundraising for animal shelters, which sparked her interest in veterinary nursing. Since then, she has been busy working part time, and studying for her Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic. She is due to graduate in 2023.  During her 6 month internship at ARVC, Seraphina developed a keen interest and aspires to take on additional certifications to become an Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) veterinary nurse. She considers herself a dog person and has a soft spot for dachshunds.   Outside of work, Seraphina enjoys watching films of various genres, particularly mystery and crime-related. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends in her free time.

No newcomer to Client Relations herself, Debra is passionate at making sure your trips with your fur kids to Pet Space is personable and informative where it's needed. She is always happy to go the extra mile in bridging the divides - to explain or lend a listening ear. Having been recently added into the fold of Brand Development as well, Debra works hand in hand with the teams in HK and Singapore to expand Pet Space’s reach throughout Singapore.
