Dr Joey graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She started her career in Singapore, at a clinic with a high caseload of exotic species. This eventually lead her to pursue a one year internship at Jurong Bird Park, before returning to private practice as she recognised the need for more avian and exotic vets in Singapore. Dr Joey has a ginger cat who was a foster fail from her time at university, and outside of the clinic her interests include pilates and rock climbing.

Amanda joined our practice in 2022 as a locum Veterinary Nurse. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing), and went on to work in an orthopedic high dependency and med-surg ward, where she honed her skills as a registered nurse caring for critically ill patients. In 2025, Amanda made the decision to pursue her true passion for nursing animals and joined our team as Senior Veterinary Nurse and Assistant Operations Manager. She strongly believes that animals deserve the same quality of care as humans, and strives to maintain high standards for both herself and her colleagues. She has developed a keen interest in Emergency and Critical Care, as well as Exotic Animal Medicine, and actively pursues her skills and knowledge in those fields. Amanda is currently “owned” by her two geriatric poodles, who have been her childhood companions, as well as two adopted cats. Outside of work, she enjoys catching up on anime and shows, as well as planning for her next holiday.
