Veterinary Team in Singapore

Our Singapore veterinary team is passionate about providing exceptional healthcare for animals. The team is make up of board-certified, residency-trained veterinarians and internal medicine specialist, together with our experienced veterinary staffs, providing the best veterinary care for the local community.

Dr. Yeumee graduated in the University of Sydney in 2008, followed by a master degree in Veterinary Studies (Small Animal Practice) from Murdoch University.  She is also a qualified veterinary acupuncturist. Dr. Yeumee started her veterinary career in Sydney before moving to US and then Singapore, developing her skills in abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, exotics, soft tissue, laparoscopic surgery and acupuncture. She has a keen interest in acupuncture and holistic medicine. Apart from dogs and cats, Dr. Yeumee takes care pocket pets: rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters in our Singapore clinic. She has extensive experience in bunny and is on the rabbit-savvy vet list for Singapore.

Dr. Dymphna obtained her DVM at the Utrecht University of the Netherlands, and furthered her studies in ISFM feline medicine.  She has also completed the ESAVS dentistry and emergency critical care courses.  Practicing as a vet for nearly 20 years in the Netherlands and Singapore, Dr. Dymphna has developed a passion for feline medicine and dentistry. She is keen on providing the best possible care to all cats, as well as establishing trusting relationships with her clients.  Outside of work, Dr. Dymphna loves scuba diving and underwater macro photography.  She runs a small dive resort in Bali with her furry team - Munchkin, Mao Mao, Brownie and Barney, that she has rescued from the streets of Bali over the years.

Dr. Romilly graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London before working in a busy clinic in the UK for 2 years. Following that, she travelled through South East Asia doing charity work, which included living in Thailand for 6 months and establishing a shelter clinic on a remote island. After returning to the UK to take senior roles in referral hospitals, she also taught at the University of Liverpool as a postgraduate lecturer. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, eating all of the amazing food Singapore has to offer.

Dr. Trisha graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After completing multiple placements in Australia and Singapore, she returned to Singapore and worked at a local veterinary practice before eventually joining the team at Pet Space. Dr. Trisha has a keen interest in small animal medicine and exotics, and intend to pursue further studies in these areas.

Dr Joey graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She started her career in Singapore, at a clinic with a high caseload of exotic species. This eventually lead her to pursue a one year internship at Jurong Bird Park, before returning to private practice as she recognised the need for more avian and exotic vets in Singapore. Dr Joey has a ginger cat who was a foster fail from her time at university, and outside of the clinic her interests include pilates and rock climbing.

Dr. Zu’An Chong: aka Dr. ZAC graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2018, and has since worked in multiple GP and emergency clinics in the UK and Singapore. Dr. ZAC enjoys soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography, and is currently working on improving his skills in these areas.

Vivian Flor graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from the University of La Salette, Philippines in 2012 and passed her licensure examination as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the same year. After a few years of honing her skills, Vivian came to Singapore and worked as a Laboratory Technician. A firm believer of lifelong learning, Vivian furthered her education and was enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and was a graduate of Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) from the Ateneo De Manila University. Vivian believes in the saying, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Shimin graduated with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic in 2022. Her interest in the veterinary industry started with her first canine companion, Pilo. It was back then that she met a friendly veterinarian, who allowed her to volunteer in the clinic during her school holidays and she was given the privilege to observe Pilo’s sterilisation procedure.  Shimin’s interest then slowly shifted towards wildlife, where she spends her time volunteering for wildlife conservation groups. Outside of work, Shimin enjoys exploring various outdoor activities and spending time with her 2 dogs - Pilo, a 10 year old Mongrel and Didi, a 7year old German Shepherd.

In pursuit of her passion, Amanda is currently undertaking her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the National University of Singapore. She aspires to provide holistic nursing and care for her patients, and has a keen interest in Critical Care Nursing.  Aside from caring for her human patients, she also enjoys working with animal patients too. Since adopting and rescuing her 3 late hamsters, Amanda has developed an interest in working with and caring for pocket pets.  Amanda is currently owned by Viper, her domestic shorthair cat that was found as a stray, along with her two poodles that grew up with her - Niko and Teddy. Outside of work, Amanda plays netball competitively and has a recent newfound interest in pickling.

Besides her love for marine animals, Erin has a deep affection for domestic pets and shares her life with her canine companion named Tako.

Eliora studied Biotechnology in 2018 and has been involved in the veterinary scene since 2015 with rescuing and volunteer work. Her love for animals began with her parent’s dog Jojo who was an old King Charles Spaniel, her affection for animals grew immensely since that time and it led her to foster and adopt many animals as a young teen, including her now furry best friend (in the picture) Le Le. Eliora intends to further her studies to feed her growing curiosity, she also aspires to specialise in Chiropractics. During after hours, Eliora enjoys the beach, the sun and asking if she can pet your fluffy companion.

Kavita Murthy, a graduate from the University Technology of Malaysia, holds a Bachelor of Science in Equine Management. Her passion for watching historical Chinese movies has cultivated a deep fondness for equine-related pursuits, combining her academic background with personal interests. During her internship with the Malaysian Equine Council, she became interested to be involved in the veterinary industry. Her responsibilities included caring for Equine and assisting stable veterinarians, further expanding her expertise in equine health and solidifying her commitment to the field. Outside of work, she finds joy in her leisure time by indulging in a diverse range of books across genres. Additionally, she has a penchant for watching horror movies, adding an exciting dimension to her interests beyond the equine industry. She is drawn to working at Pet Space because of her love for animals, empathy for pet owners, and the opportunity to assist them, and the chance to work in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.
